INDEPENDENT CURATOR · CREATIVE PRODUCER · CULTURAL PROGRAMMER
Abigail Alabré is an independent curator, creative producer, and cultural programmer based in Newark, New Jersey. Her practice brings together contemporary art, public programming, and creative experiences that invite people to engage with art in meaningful and accessible ways.
As the founder of The Art Walk, Love, she has developed a multidisciplinary cultural platform connecting artists, audiences, and communities through exhibitions, public activations, and thoughtfully curated experiences. Her work spans independent exhibitions, municipal cultural programming, brand collaborations, and international projects.
My curatorial practice is rooted in the belief that art should be experienced beyond traditional boundaries. I am interested in how exhibitions, public spaces, and cultural gatherings can become environments for discovery, dialogue, and connection.
Whether working within a gallery, transforming a city street, or developing a multidisciplinary cultural experience, I approach each project with attention to artistic intention, audience engagement, and the relationship between people and place.

Founded by Abigail Alabré, The Art Walk, Love is an independent cultural platform creating opportunities for artistic expression, community engagement, and connection.
Through exhibitions, public art experiences, live painting, music, and multidisciplinary programming, the platform brings artists and audiences together in spaces designed for exploration and shared experiences.
